If you want
freedom in your life, please read...John 8:32
Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
Romans 6:1-7
What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may
increase? By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it
any longer? Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized
into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore
buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just
as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father,
we too may live a new life. If we have been united with him like
this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him
in his resurrection. For we know that our old self was crucified
with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that
we should no longer be slaves to sin-- because anyone who has
died has been freed from sin.
Romans 6:22
But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves
to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result
is eternal life.
Galatians 5:1
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then,
and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
1 Peter 2:16
Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for
evil; live as servants of God.
1 Peter 1:2
who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the
Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for obedience
to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by his blood: Grace and peace
be yours in abundance.
Psalm 107:13-16
Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them
from their distress. He brought them out of darkness and the
deepest gloom and broke away their chains. Let them give thanks
to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for
men, for he breaks down gates of bronze and cuts through bars
of iron.
Psalm 116:16
O LORD, I am your servant; yes, I am your servant, the son of your
handmaid, and you have freed me from my bonds!
Colossians 1:12-14
always thanking the Father, who has enabled you to share the inheritance
that belongs to God's holy people, who live in the light. For
he has rescued us from the one who rules in the kingdom of darkness,
and he has brought us into the Kingdom of his dear Son. God has
purchased our freedom with his blood and has forgiven all our
sins.
Romans 7:21-25
So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right
there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law;
but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging
war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the
law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I am!
Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God--through
Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave
to God's law, but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of
sin.
